Sweet Beginnings

Hey there!

First blog post, ever!

I am SO excited to start photographing you, your life, and all of your precious moments.

That's my husband and I, Michael, on our wedding day. It was the most special day, and we were surrounded by people who are closest to our hearts. Our wedding photographers were Beet and Blossom, and they are absolutely amazing. As you can tell, I'm a hopeless romantic. Swoon.

The Beginning

I remember the first time I got a taste of the creative endorphins that taking pictures could allude to. I was 8 years old. My family had travelled to Sedona, Arizona for our winter vacation. I was given my very own disposable camera, I was allowed to use the entire roll of film throughout the duration of our trip. I was on cloud nine as a carefully clicked landscapes of the grand canyon, sedona rock forms, mexican food I had never tasted before, my brothers sunburn that actually turned out to be pretty serious, and of course, the cacti that surrounded our resort.

Turns out, the camera never made its way home.. It got lost during a luggage check, and as you can imagine, I was heartbroken. But, nevertheless, I’ve had a strong interest in photography ever since.

Some things about me...

I’m from Connecticut, born and raised, although, I’ve known I was a west-coast gal for as long as I can remember. I lived on Oahu for my undergraduate degree, and called San Diego my home as I studied for my Masters. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my husband, Michael, and our human-dog, Belle. We enjoy mountain biking, running, and a good cup of coffee at our local cafe.

In all the places I haved lived during my life, art has followed me, and I am grateful that it has stuck around.

My Wedding Collections have been carefully curated to fully embody this sacred time during every couples beginning. My Lifestyle and Portrait Sessions are personable, upbeat, and unique to you. I adore working with newborns and pets, as well as souls who have been through the thick and thin of life together.
